A: According to mentalhealth.org, at the most basic level, stress is a circumstance that results in a specific biological response. Often brought on by pressures from a situation or life event that causes the body to release stress hormones that trigger a ‘flight or fight’ response and activates the immune system. This response can bring on a feeling of pressure that can aid us in dangerous or intense situations. However, if the body’s stress response is activated repeatedly, the effects can make us feel overwhelmed, nervous and in a constant state of 'flight or fight'.
Q: Can Calm Stress Support capsules interfere with my medication?
A: As with any supplement, we would always suggest speaking with a doctor or medical practitioner to see if their may be any contraindication with hemp and your other medications.
Q: Is hemp Oil good for stress?
A: The endocannabinoid system has been shown to affect our ability to cope with those occasional stressors. Hemp in particular has been shown to support a balanced mood and the ability to cope with occasional stress. That is why we combined hemp with ashwagandha, another adaptogen known to help promote a sense of calm.
Q: How many Calm Stress Support capsules should I take?
A: Everyone’s body requires a different amount of hemp. We recommend starting with one to two capsules per day and adjusting from there.
